1. Scope

This policy applies to the Bed Hawgs website, waitlist, and private administrative tools. It describes the current pre-launch website. We will update this policy before introducing member profiles, messaging, location-based discovery, payments, advertising tools, or other expanded platform features.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• First and last name
• Email address
• Arkansas ZIP code
• Your confirmation that you are at least 18 and currently live in Arkansas
• The date and time you joined the waitlist

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider may create standard technical logs when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, date and time, referring page, and security or error information. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

Administrator information

Authorized administrators create usernames and password hashes. We do not store readable administrator passwords.

3. How We Use Information

• Maintain the Bed Hawgs launch waitlist
• Send launch news, invitations, and important service updates
• Confirm basic waitlist eligibility
• Prevent duplicate registrations, spam, fraud, and abuse
• Operate, protect, debug, and improve the website
• Respond to privacy, support, or legal requests
• Comply with applicable law and protect people, Bed Hawgs, and the public

We will not use a waitlist ZIP code as proof of identity or precise location.

4. Selling and Sharing

We do not sell waitlist information. We do not rent it to marketers or permit third parties to use it for their own advertising.

We may disclose limited information to service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, or communicate about Bed Hawgs; when required by valid legal process; to address fraud, security, or safety concerns; or as part of a business reorganization where the recipient agrees to appropriate protections.

5. Cookies and Tracking

The public waitlist website does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising trackers. The private admin area uses a necessary session cookie to keep an authorized administrator signed in. Our hosting provider may use essential technologies and server logs to deliver and secure the site.

6. Retention

We keep waitlist information until you create a Bed Hawgs account, ask us to remove it, or it is no longer reasonably needed for launch and membership planning. Unless a longer period is required for security, dispute resolution, or law, we plan to remove inactive waitlist records within two years after our last launch-related communication.

Technical and security logs may be retained for shorter periods determined by operational and hosting needs.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, restricted administrative access, hashed administrator passwords, access controls, and limited data collection. No online system can promise absolute security. If we learn of a security incident affecting personal information, we will investigate and provide notices when required.

8. Your Choices

You may ask to:

• Confirm whether you are on the waitlist
• Correct your name, email, or ZIP code
• Remove your waitlist entry
• Stop receiving nonessential launch emails
• Ask questions about how your information is handled

Send requests from the email address used to join the waitlist so we can reasonably verify the request. We may retain limited information when necessary for security, legal compliance, or documenting an opt-out.

9. Children and Teens

Bed Hawgs is not directed to anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor submitted personal information, we will remove it. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may contact us.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as Bed Hawgs develops. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how previously collected information is used.
