Be real • Be neighborly • Belong
Community Standards
Pre-launch edition • July 29, 2026
People should be able to disagree, laugh, learn, create, and connect without being threatened, exploited, deceived, or driven out of the conversation.
1. Who the Community Is For
Full Bed Hawgs membership is planned for verified Arkansas residents age 18 or older. Visitors from outside Arkansas may explore public travel, event, creator, and local-business content but will not receive full social-member privileges.
Do not misrepresent your age, identity, Arkansas residency, affiliation, or relationship to another person or organization.
2. Treat People Like Neighbors
Disagreement is allowed. Targeted cruelty is not. Do not engage in:
- Harassment, stalking, bullying, dogpiling, or repeated unwanted contact
- Credible threats, encouragement of violence, or glorification of real-world harm
- Attacks or dehumanizing content based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, serious medical condition, veteran status, or another protected characteristic
- Sharing someone’s private information, precise location, intimate material, or identifying documents without permission
- Celebrating another person’s death, injury, abuse, or personal tragedy
3. Sexual Safety and Consent
Bed Hawgs is an adult community, but adult-only does not mean anything goes. We prohibit sexual exploitation, coercion, non-consensual intimate imagery, threats to share intimate material, unwanted explicit content, sexual services, trafficking, and content involving or sexualizing minors.
Dating interactions require consent. A person who says no, blocks contact, or stops responding must be left alone.
4. Authenticity and Deception
Do not impersonate another person, create coordinated fake engagement, operate romance or investment scams, manipulate people for money, distribute malware, phish for credentials, or deliberately falsify emergencies and fundraising needs.
Parody and roleplay should be clearly labeled when a reasonable person could otherwise be misled.
5. Dangerous or Illegal Activity
Do not use Bed Hawgs to plan or facilitate violence, human exploitation, theft, fraud, illegal drug sales, illegal weapons transactions, animal cruelty, or other serious unlawful conduct. Content may be preserved or reported when reasonably necessary to address an imminent safety concern or legal obligation.
6. Spam, Businesses, and Advertising
People may discuss businesses freely and share genuine recommendations or criticism. Businesses may not use community spaces as a free billboard.
- Disclose your connection when promoting a business, product, campaign, or paid partnership
- Use approved business and advertising tools for commercial promotions
- Do not mass-post, repeat promotions across groups, disguise advertisements as personal recommendations, or evade promotional limits
- Do not use misleading prices, fake reviews, pyramid schemes, or deceptive earnings claims
The guiding rule: People may discuss businesses freely. Businesses may not use the community as a free billboard.
7. Privacy and Personal Information
Share only information you have the right to share. Do not post home addresses, private phone numbers, financial information, government identifiers, medical records, login credentials, or another person’s private communications without permission.
Before posting photos or recordings from private settings, consider whether the people shown reasonably expected privacy.
8. Intellectual Property
Post content you created or have permission to use. Do not knowingly upload pirated media, stolen artwork, counterfeit listings, or material that violates copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other legal rights. Criticism, commentary, parody, and other legally protected uses will be evaluated in context.
9. Public-Interest and Sensitive Content
Newsworthy, documentary, educational, artistic, or awareness content may be permitted when context makes its purpose clear. Graphic or disturbing material may be labeled, limited, or removed to protect viewers and prevent glorification or exploitation.
Do not interfere with elections through false voting instructions, intimidation, impersonation of election officials, or deliberate deception about when, where, or how to vote.
10. Enforcement
Depending on severity, context, history, and risk, Bed Hawgs may:
- Reduce distribution or add a warning
- Pause content for review
- Remove content, promotions, or listings
- Limit features or commercial activity
- Suspend or permanently remove an account
- Preserve information or contact emergency services or authorities when legally required or reasonably necessary to address imminent harm
Attempts to evade enforcement—including creating replacement accounts or disguising prohibited advertising—may lead to additional restrictions.
11. Reports and Appeals
Members will be able to report content, accounts, messages, and businesses. Reports should be made honestly and not used to harass, silence, or retaliate against others. When available, an appeal may be reviewed by someone who was not responsible for the original decision.
For an immediate emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate local authority rather than relying on a platform report.
12. A Living Standard
No written policy can anticipate every situation. We will consider context, credible evidence, community safety, freedom of expression, and consistency. These standards will develop with the platform and the Arkansas community.
Questions may be sent to hello@bedhawgs.com.
These pre-launch standards should receive legal and trust-and-safety review before Bed Hawgs enables full user-generated content, messaging, dating, livestreaming, commerce, or advertising.
